Dr. Dipali Rani Gupta is an Associate Professor of Molecular Biology with over 12 years of experience in molecular plant pathology, plant–microbe interactions, and functional genomics. Her research integrates genomics, fungal genetics, and cell signaling to elucidate plant–pathogen dynamics and develop sustainable disease management strategies, including CRISPR-based genome editing and biologically derived antifungal compounds.
Dr. Gupta successfully led and contributed to several nationally and internationally funded research projects and has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals. Dr. Gupta has extensive expertise in advanced molecular techniques, bioinformatics, and microbial ecology, and has made notable contributions to the development of diagnostic tools and biofungicides for major crop diseases.
In addition to research, Dr. Gupta is a dedicated educator and mentor, having supervised numerous graduate students and developed courses in biotechnology and molecular biology. Dr. Gupta is committed to fostering collaborative, interdisciplinary research aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity, food security, and environmental sustainability.
